Yes, the yarn balls look amazingly bright and colorful. Either it's very strong dye, or you've not had much "bleaching" sunshine.
It's looking quite healthy.
The knitters ought to grow a few more ripe ones for some yarn birds to eat. Say wasn't that the name of a 60's band - the Yarnbirds?

I think Truffula trees are year round yarn bearers. :)
