good job I did not know you were going to crawl up so high! But glad it was interesting.

I hate heights - to the point of vertigo, but I would follow you up any ladder or narrow stairs to be able to inside an old building like that. That looks so interesting! I love the bottom picture because it reminds me of an old drawing or etching, with just a tad bit of color added.

We went up a lot higher than that!

Hi, Speedway. That's the roof of the Catholic St.Paul's in Norwich. We've just built their new narthex and we got a free tour of the tower and roof. Yay, fun!

What's a narthex and are there pictures?

I love the "inside" view. It's fascinating to see how things are put together, how things "work".

Perhaps you'll post more photos of the cathedral?

A narthex is a kind of mythological two-headed bat/moose hybrid so there are no pictures.

I have a feeling you're right, Ms.M. More to come.

Wow! This is so cool Dive! I would be a little quivery kneed up there.
I came over for a dose of Dive this morning because you know it's been too long as usual. :)

You're always welcome here, Shan, and much missed since you moved to Facebookville.
