Miscellaneous London Guff

A compact and bijou gallimaufry of photos left over from our trip to meet Robyn last week.

Mum in St.James's Park just before it started tipping it down.
I often walk to work this way, as you know, and this is always a lovely place to pause. Looking down the lake has the added benefit of pointing my arse at the Parasite House.

Swans. Nuff said.

I'm always on the lookout for baps and peepees for Ame, so here are some rather fetching man-baps from Easter island.

And my favourite horsie from Elgin's stolen horde.

And that cute temple just outside the Parthenon Room at the B.M.

Some useless bling.
Sure it looks great until you put it on and you can't move your arms.
Crap!

And just for a change, a picture of Jesus NOT riding a dinosaur!

HEY! I saw that picture of Jesus, and that useless bling. I missed the horse, though. I guess that means another trip to the British Museum is in order.

Oooooooo … Shiro Maguro is white tuna, Ame. Yum!
And yes, I am sooooo jealous of you living in paradise. One day I'll get there and return your visit. Right now though, I'm off to work in the rain.
Mum sends her love.

Robyn: I guess you'd better get right back on that plane. I'll meet you in the British Museum.
And hey! Life here without you is pretty rotten so come back soon. I miss you.

The Parasite HOuse? Dear dear...lol.

Interesting stuff though; agree about the useless bling. Why? springs to mind..

"Hey! I can't move my arms in this stupid thing!" also springs to mind.
Having said that, it doesn't seem any worse than most of the crap you see on catwalks these days.

full marks to you Dive for getting the word Gallimaufrey into a post. Love the photo of your Mum in St James' Park. My favourite picture of my Mum has her leaning on those same railings!
