There sure are, Petrea. When it comes to naming places, people have a joyfully lackadaisical attitude to hidden and unintentional meanings.
Here in Minnesota they are measured in "ax handles." It has something to do with Paul Bunyon and his large ax and his large Blue Ox. Katie and I will get you "up to speed" when you two visit the Land of Dylan.
