Putty

Crapola.
I bounced into work this morning, happy as a hyena on nitrous oxide only to find myself condemned to endure a stupid meeting for hours.
It's over now, but it will probably take all afternoon for the numbness to wear off my brain; it's like someone scooped out my skull and filled it with putty … You remember the way Jack Nicholson looked after Nurse Ratched wheeled him back from the lobotomy room?
Something like that.
God, I hate meetings.

Normal service will be resumed after I ingest vast quantities of caffeine.

Hiya Dive :), Hope your brain regenerates soon. You should use that time to draw a new graphic series that you could share with us. Maybe some work related funnies or something.

I just watched those ladies sing and I remembered how fun it is to harmonize (is that an "se" also?) in a country accent. You can allow yourself to be much more nasal when you reach for those high notes.

Hey, Shan!
I'm way too busy catching up on time lost to the stupid meeting to draw caricatures of my colleagues (however tempting that might be).

Now you've got me giggling. I'm going to have to put on some country music when I get home and sing harmony vocals while pinching my nose to get that nasal twang.
And yes, in English we use "harmonise".

If you hold the nose, old son, you could end up sounding like an Aussie.
You could even get deported !

You must truly love those weekly meetings.

If only they still transported folk for stealing a loaf of bread. I'd be off to Oz like a shot.

Don't ya just love having dental work? They have made a small forune off of me and my family but I'm glad I can afford it just the same.

I love meeting btw. I usually use the time to catch up on needed sleep.

Gosh, Pea, I'd forgotten about that. I'll try to dig it up one day.

Rich: I wish I could sleep in meetings. Today I was the one sending the others to sleep. Hey ho.

The one thing I am dreading about giving up freelancing is that I now will have to attend meetings. Ugh.

EEK!
Remember to practice sleeping whilst looking wide awake and attentive.
