Katie complained yesterday that my post forced her to think after a hard day at the office, for which I can only apologise wholeheartedly and follow the previous two days' "thinky" posts with one so un-"thinky" that you can watch it with your brain removed enitirely.
I'm not a fan of football but this guy seems to have found a diverting use for his skills.
This one comes courtesy of Phil, in whose general direction I genefluct in effusive gratitude.
Cheers, bro.

After such a crap day at the office, what a pleasure to sit down at 11 pm and be entertained like this monsieur, cobber, old son, !
I am grinning from ear to ear and my brain has been by-passed as you said.
There must be some other past of the human anatomy that functions when the brain is switched off.
Ripper little clip, I will play it again, only louder tis time.
Unlike M. Benaut I'm about to go to work, but like him I thoroughly enjoyed this video! My brain is thoroughly cleared out and ready for the monotony of my job. Thanks!! That Remi sure is talented, both at obtaining a goooooooaaaaaal, but also upsetting a few people along the way. I bet I could learn some interesting French if I could hear what some of those people were saying!
Glad you enjoyed it, Monsieur!
Ah, the vagaries of longitude. Monsieur goes to bed and Katie gets up, while I make my lunch.
I think the sort of French you'd learn from those people is not the sort you'll be wanting to use on your trip there later this year, Katie!
Hasn't that funny video shooted
in Montpellier(France)???!!!
I recognise streets and buildings
and Police Station and War Memorial
etc...
Well spotted, Anonymous!
You have some good footballers there, it seems.
Having heard some horrendous music blasting down from upstairs, I had to look - eventually - where on earth do you find these things? That boy must have been practising since he was three months old. He shoots those balls like others play billiards. Astonishing accuracy. I'll make sure that I look out for him when we're in Montpellier!!
The music is indeed horrendous, Mme. As is the game itself, but the video is fun. You can thank (or otherwise) my brother for that one.
boys and their balls...*snickering*
xoxoxox
I am only now realizing that it is possible to kick a ball and make it go where you want it to. This guy is amazing! Maybe I should pay more attention to sports. I just might appreciate them a little more. Nah!
My first thought that this was not football at all...but soccer.
Remember, we colony people see football as a whole other game. But, I would LOVE for this guy to move to Nebraska and be a Cornhusker...we need an accurate kicker.
Savannah: Hee hee hee. I prefer rugby to football. I like my balls an odd shape.
Shan: Sports are invariably dumb.
Maria: This is football. What you have over there is called "American Football".
There are around 195 countries in the world today. 194 of them call this "football".
This guy would be useless for the Cornhuskers; you need someone like Jonny Wilkinson who can kick that shape of ball better than anyone on the planet. Plus he's a cutie.
Oi, Dive, you know better than to call AC/DC horrendous in my hearing. I love this vid and the classic song from a classic band tops it off for me!
Hee Hee, Pea!
It is rather fun, is it not?
Sorry I dissed Angus and Bon.
