It's a lovely building, Robyn. All the architectural details have animals hidden in them. There are stone monkeys climbing the columns and snakes and sea creatures hidden in the wall details. It's fun.
I love dinosaur skellingtons. There's one here in Leicester which Helly and I saw the other week - a magnificent beast. However, if you look at the info board, where they've drawn a picture of it and coloured in how much of it is real fossils and how much they've had to sculpt themselves to complete the thing (almost all of it) it seems a bit of a swizz. Hope yours was more real than ours!!
They're pretty good down at the Natural History Museum, Pea, though unfortunately they've had to give Sue the T-Rex (remember her?) back to the Americans.
Ah, Mister K. We went there later that day. But it was the opening day of the exhibition so bollocks to standing in those kind of crowds. I'll wait until the rush dies down a bit and go later.
Pea: yup, the Field Museum took her home again. We should have made a replica and let them have that instead.

I LOVE it when I get photos of people pointing to things.
My favorite is one I have of Bing in a Chicago museum pointing to a male statue's penis with this huge grin on her face.
I think it was the first one she had seen up close....
