In a fit of atypical seasonality, this week’s sentence was taken from one of Charles Dickens’ many delightful Christmas Books: The Chimes (A Goblin Story).
The sentence was:
‘A lamentable instance, Mr. Fish.’
Even more atypically, it seems only Old Dive (the man who hates Christmas) got into the festive groove this week.
Dive's 'A Christmas Karel'
Appalling title, I know, but hey ho.
I'll be posting another festive sentence tomorrow for the run-up to the day itself.
Bah, humbug to any who don't join in.
Oooh! Hey! Late addendum:
Todd has unleashed his extraordinarily creative imagination on this one and the result is:
Todd's 'Dreaming'
A truly beautiful and quite trippy journey across the universe using a form of transport that would make my commute a sheer joy.

I tried coming up with something better!
Nice feel good story, Dive.
Dive, this is off the subject but do yourself a Scroogey Christmas favor:

Todd: you are never too late. What a wonderful story.
Cali: Thank you, though I'm not so sure people would really like a Christmas without the greed and hypocrisy.
Petrea: Hee hee hee! That is most extraordinarily funny. Thank you. I love the guns and ciggies.
I look to see glass-goldfish universal transport devices in next years sky-mall retailing for $229.95.
Hee hee. I would DEFINITELY buy one of those, Todd!
