Wednesday Window
Another photo from Monday's jaunt. This one might give those of you with long memories some clue as to where we were.

Where In The World?
Spring hit town yesterday (just for the day; it's going to return to torrential rain tomorrow) so Lynn and I went out for a walk.
This is where we went.
Pretty, huh?
More later.
Toodle pip.

WTF Monday - Buy One, Get One Half Price
The good folk of Morris were in the city this weekend, blending in to the local street scene with their customary flair for camouflage.

What Sunday Afternoons Are For
Splendid day today: down in Suffolk with mum and her jazz mates; good real ale and this bunch of elderly reprobates (hi, guys) playing jazz at il Fascisti.
Here's Django's "Nuages." Enjoy …

We're Going To Need A Bigger Lens
Passing by the Cathedral this morning in the freezing cold, the peregrines nesting on the spire apparently have four chicks close to fledging.
I only had my standard lens with me, however (I even forgot my binoculars, dammit), so could take nothing but blurry, distant shots.
Nice to see at least one boid, though.
Maybe next week I'll remember to pack the right equipment.
They are, after all, a long way up.

Car Porn Thursday - Cooper S
Bollocks to the hideous monstrosity that BMW now sell as the "Mini" … THIS is the real thing. A proper Cooper S from 1965 still thrashing the shit out of modern travesties that shame its glorious name.

Just A Normal Norwich Sunday Afternoon
Meet the Promettes.
I dunno … I pop into the city for coffee with Gerry and I get kinda persuaded by the lovely Francesca (aka Miss High Leg Lick) to take a bunch of photos.
That's Jamie Oliver's restaurant on the left, getting a free cabaret. What's not to love?
Anyhoo … lots more of these photos should be hitting their website and FB page soon, but now I'm gonna have to leave the computer alone for a bit and dance round the room to Donna Summer.
Welcome to Normal For Norfolk.

You know how it is: you start chatting to someone and the next thing you know, you're part of a drag troupe of majorettes in pink air hostess jackets dancing through the city to gloriously trashy disco songs from the seventies and eighties.
This is the guitar solo from Electric Dreams, played with passion (insert your own air guitar noises here).
