Slow Time

Hey, it's Sunday and I've got the whole week off to recharge my batteries after a frenzied period of overwork.
Phil and Dawn are in Paris, Tony's off to Spain, Gerry and Heddy are running away to Sicily and me? I'm heading for my library to rest my tired eyes from bloody computer screens and spend a lazy-assed week snuggled into my big ol' reading chair.
Toodle pip!

What? All that work and no trip to Paris for yourself?
Anyway ... We look at the folks at the steam engine and see an idyll, but however much the engine made their work easier, it was still hard, dangerous labor. And remains so. I wonder what the younger men would have thought about the black crotch rocket passing through their field? A demon? Or a promise of freedom from the labors on the farm?

Have a good time, Dive, snuggled in your chair.
