It'll take me a while to go through the more than half a thousand photos I took at Goodwood at the weekend, but here to tide you over is one of my favourites so far: a nice portrait of Sir Jackie Stewart driving one of Jim Clark's beautiful old Lotus racers. Worth clicking on it to enlarge it. Sometimes I manage to get the panning just right and it makes me very grateful to those nice folk at Canon.

Nice…
Ta muchly.
What a lovely portrait, Dive. I liked Sir Jackie when I met him years ago. He seemed to be the only calm person in the midst of a TV production ego shit storm - and I appreciated him for that.
He is still the classic Scottish gentleman and pretty calm, except when he trashes a priceless pre-war Merc silver arrow on the Goodwood chicane … hee hee.
This year, however, he drove carefully.
Excellent shot! Nice car, too.
