Stormy Saturday

Well actually, it was stormy Friday out of the office window, but we're due pretty much the same thing today.
We've got no real mountains closer than Poland so we don't see proper mammatus clouds here like Ms.M has up in the Rockies. This is the closest we get; kind of fried egg boobs bubbling under the thunderclouds.

It's way over thirty degrees here (that's up around a hundred for the Colonials, with about the same percentage humidity … blech) as I write this and we've not had rain so much as warm sweat falling in great, splatty torrents out of the clouds. Some boffo lightning, though I'm too slow to get photos of it so you'll just have to imagine it.
Happy weekend, one and all.

The weather sounds deathly. I don't mind heat, or humidity, but the combination of the two is too much.

You're going to put me off my breakfast with those egg boobs.

The weather truly sucks, Petrea. Eighteen months of winter followed by a month trapped in a sauna. Folk wonder why the English complain so much.

Apologies for the fried egg boobs but mammatus clouds are named that way. Up in the Rockies, Ms.M gets the real thing: the full on Dolly Parton cloud formations.

Great clouds… yes weather so strange nowadays.

Still makes it fine to just eat salad fruit and veg tee he!

"Fried egg boob clouds." Hmmm, Dive, does that mean anything more than a handful is overage?

It's ALWAYS fine to eat salad, fruit and veg, mum.

Speedway, I've spent many a blogging year getting in trouble for maintaining that any bit of boobage you can't cup in your palm is just excess body fat, but I'll keep on maintaining just that.
Not that I've been able to cup anything in my palm for way too many years now.
Hey, and a big hefty helping of ho.

So... the fried egg boob clouds are just about right, but always, forever just tantalizingly, or is that titillatingly, a bit out of reach?

Always waaay out of reach, Speedway. But hey; that's what dark chocolate, too much wine and the big boxed set of Buffy is for.

Amazing clouds, but I don't envy you living in "sauna" weather. At least where I am, it's a dry heat.
Hope it cools off soon! (Don't want to cook those friend egg boobs to rubber ;-))

I sure am envious of your dry heat, Ms.M. As well as your magnificent cloudscapes.
