I woke up today and all of a sudden it was March. Holy crap, how did that happen?
Those three missing days docked off the tail end of February really mess me up now that I've reached the age when I need to write a list before getting dressed in the mornings.
Yesterday was the 28th (I checked) and the fuzzy logic circuits in my frazzled old brain told me the milk in my fridge had four days before "use-by." Today it's almost out of date. What the fuck?
A pox on this calendular perversity!

I agree. Why does February get the shaft? There are plenty of 31-day months that could have on chopped off.
It's not like it makes Winter any shorter. I think it's a deliberate ploy to confuse the over-fifties.
Ha ha wait until you get to my age it goes even faster..
Scary.
Darn that Gregorian calendar! Maybe we should invent a better one!
Sure confused me. I completely forgot all the bills that are automatically debited from my bank account on the first of the month. Now I'm in for an "overdrawn" fee. As we say, frequently, down here ... bugger.
Ms.M: I want one that has 365 days of May, with the weather to match.
Mme: Bugger indeed! I bet the banks love the first of March.
I'll second you on the 365 days of May! I am happy that February is gone!
February is such a shivery month. I'm ready for March and hints of Spring myself! Plus I can't afford the heating bill much longer.
I'll have a teenager this month so that's gonna hit ME like a lion.
Neetzy: yay for approaching Spring (it can't get here fast enough for me).
Shan, you cannot POSSIBLY have a teenager already! Can't you fit him with a growth inhibitor or something?
