I know how to Pony, but I couldn't have done it that fast, even in 1965. I learned the Mashed Potatoes, the Yoyo, the Jerk, etc. to Cannibal and the Headhunters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSKD-fWlCQ4 Cannibal had some good moves, but he's not much at lipsynching.

Dancing, huh? And here I thought the man had become light-headed because all his blood had rushed to his crotch.
Fortunately I never did that particular dance (or any other) but I did roll my eyes a lot at the people who partook of the latest thing.
Maybe he was trying the Mashed Potato or one of the other 999.

I haven't clicked your link yet, Ms M, but I'm going to be it's the "Land of 1000 Dances." I'll be back after I watch it.

I'd love to see those dances performed in formal dance-wear with an orchestra.
Fun link, Petrea.
Yes, to see those dances in formal attire, or Victorian dress. But the orchestra would need to step it up a bit for the FULL effect.
I think a new TV show has been born, Ms.M.
