Gosh! I am in awe of the knitting, but not sure I like the finished effect. Very glad to see your pic though :) It behoves us all to create alternate Christmas trees. Though I love the traditional one, I am tempted to make one of logs in varying lengths attached to the wall in the shape of a tree, adorned with lights and small, pretty adornments. I am no good with a hammer and nails however, so it will be traditional. Again. You, Dive? Please do not say you will not have one at all? I know the answer though !
I was expecting something more like a stuffed, knitted Christmas tree, but it'll do. At least the needles won't drop.
Lynn, your walls will not thank you for nailing logs to them, so just as well you've abandoned the idea. The best logs are chocolate ones. You could always try crocheting a tree. I won't tell you I've not got a tree this year; indeed I have purchased the Emperor's New Tree and it sits, proudly invisible in the centre of my room.

Love this. I could never knit, but I bought this knitting loom and my daughter managed to knit a hat in a night! Now she is knitting for all of her friends!

Hi Lynn… You know what a bah humbug my eldest Son is, well he will have to endure Christmas with me again this year, so he better like it a bit!!!!
