The Guardian reports today that - due to a cock up by the Ministry of Justice - the Treason Felony Act of 1848 is still in force and that one can be imprisoned for life for advocating the abolition of the monarchy!
Woohoo!
Abolish the monarchy now! Burn down the Parasite House and put the buggers out on the streets.
Older readers will know my long-standing antipathy toward unearned and undeserved privilege and my righteous mockery of the Parasites, but now I find that I could be put in prison for life for it!
Yay!
Free meals, bed and board, a snooker table and an exercise yard. Bring it on!
Rather disappointingly, however, the article points out that an offence under the Vagrancy Act of 1824 has recently been repealed … that of "being an incorrigible rogue."
Darn it. At least I can justly claim to be actively guilty of a treasonable offence that carries with it a term of life imprisonment.
Kinda cool.

Did i drop you on your head when you were little? Be nice!!!
You might well have done. That would explain a lot.
So, I don't need to put together the ACME get out of jail package for you, sweet pea? xoxoxo
You rogue, you!
Savannah, I'm hoping they'll put me in the Tower as a traitor, which is good because it'll save me the exorbitant entrance fee. xoxoox
If Sarah Palin can do it, then I'm pretty sure I can manage to go rogue, Katherine.
I don't think I've ever done anything--wait. Let me think about it.
Of course, over here, across the pond, you'd be seen as a Benedict Arnold.
I like incorrigible rogue better. ;)
Petrea, I think you'll manage to escape incarceration in the Tower as - thanks to your own rebellious nature - the writ of English law no longer holds in our lost Colonies.
Ms.M. I like to think I have a cuter butt than Benedict Arnold.
Please, Dive, don't EVER put your "incorrigible rogue" self in the same sorry ass league as that toxic incompetent who calls herself a "Rogue." You, Dive, are creative and thoughtful.
What is saddest is that she has a multitude of small-minded followers who are about as rogue as biscuit dough and as dangerous to the safety of our "Freedoms" as the Nazi Party - not an original thought among 'em, just a lot of people playing on the fear and ignorance of others.
