Much more interesting shapes than the post below, ha ha!

Prettier and healthier.

What were all those headlights on? These pics would make some gorgeous b&w prints. Nicely done, sugar! xoxoxoxox

Savannah: All those headlights are on a 1962 Mod scooter. Check out the old movie Quadrophenia for more of the same (or indeed last year's Goodwood photos which featured several scooters similarly attired).

VERY cool! I like the first one best.

Katherine: that's the inappropriately named (in that it's actually quite pretty) Queen Elizabeth the Second Bridge which I have to cross on my way to Goodwood if I want to avoid getting stuck in London.

That second one looks like some machine fly eye.

Scary thought, Vanda.

I do love the bridge. It reminds me of the Zakim bridge in Boston.

The hood ornament on the DeLaHaye reminds me that Lalique made hood ornaments. This one is beautiful.

Ooh la la. This is the way to see Goodwood (aside from the swanky costumes, of course). I like these industrial viewpoints. Manmade beauty at its finest! Lynn would appreciate these name and all! :)

Nice. Great stuff! I used to give that as an assignment! Way back when I taught photography!

Great photos! And some of them would look very sharp in B&W.

Lupine Lady: Lalique made some awesome hood ornaments. This one's pretty good, too. Very Art Deco.

Shan, the best way to see Goodwood is to dress up and go there.
Bring earplugs; the racing cars are LOUD.

Neetzy: I remember simlar assignments when I was doing photography back in uni.

Ms.M: I used to be very snobbish and only use grainy black and white film in my old Rolleiflex. Those days are long gone though.

How interesting. The Delahaye hood ornament is the coolest thing. I want it.

Robyn: trade in the Camry for a vintage DeLaHaye or drop some serious hints before Christmas and see what Santa brings you.
