Random Photo 1

My stupid brain is still bereft of anything worth blogging about, so here in the meantime is the first of what might or might not become a series of random photos from my murky past.

No reason; just something different to look at from time to time whilst I hunt around for my lost blog-mojo.

You can earn some "Woah, what an impressive smart-arse!" points by guessing the specific location.

That's really pretty, Dive! Would make a lovely painting.

I have too many impressive smart-arse points. Thank goodness I do, because I have no idea where you took this photo.

Katherine: It would make an insanely complicated painting,
And a pretty nasty jigsaw, too.

Petrea: Hee hee! I must confess it's kinda tricky to guess, but it's certainly not Smallville.
Or indeed Pasadena.

Portugal. That's my guess.

The shadows are fascinating, sort of like it's under water.

Close, but no cigar, Robyn. Right continenet; wrong country.
I love those shadows too.

talking about your murky past (and sorry to go off-topic) I've laughed out loud several times when I've heard a story on the news about assumption day which I gather is today. I always thought that was something you had made up - a very amusing corruption of ascension day.

In your honour I have assumed a few things throughout the day.

Hee hee, Pea! I'd forgotten that one. I hope you assumed some fun things.

I'm working with Mike again now, so maybe there will be another issue of the calendar and we can all celebrate Smothering Sunday, Resemblance Day, Windsock Thursday and all the others and of course assume things on Assumption Day. No, we didn't make it up; the Godbotherers invented that one; we simply assumed a different meaning for it.

Nice shadows. I wouldn't try to paint it. Just so you know, I'm blog-dead lately also.

Neetzy: I think Facebook has sucked too many people away from blogging so it's all gone a little dry. I'm too anti-social for social networking so I'll stay here in blogville.
