Before I hung up the old cape I would satisfy my gadget lust in the Metropolis branch of the Apple Store.
Now I'm back in Smallville things are … er … somewhat different.It's worth clicking on this to enlarge it enough to appreciate its full glory.
Yes, I know they spelled wizard wrong but I have a feeling this is not so much for Harry Potter fans as ageing acolytes of Roy Wood's early seventies glam rock band, 'Wizzard.'
No, I have not yet dared to venture inside but I suspect that when I do I shall not find rows of gleaming Macs to play with but dusty shelves creaking under the strain of ancient PC components and cassette-powered 4-colour video games consoles.
Which might actually be fun come to think of it.

I try not to but you have to admit that place looks a teensy bit creepy in the same manner as a gingerbread cottage in the middle of a forest.
I suppose so, but maybe the bike is there to make a quick getaway!
What a fabulous little building! I love the pretty iron gate, what's left of it. The green garbage dumpster adds a colorful note. Do go inside and tell us what you find; I'm in suspense!

Cynthia: I must confess I think the 'wizard's hat' roof is hilarious as well as sweet, though I'm not so sure about the dumpster.
I asked the guys at work about the place and they told me it is closed at the moment after a fire, but when it reopens I shall venture inside and let you know what I find.
It'd be interesting to know if one of the "wizzards" accidentally started the fire during a repair or upgrade service.

I definitely think you'll find more surprises at Wizzard. As cool as the Apple building looks, I know exactly what will be in there. So where's the suspense in that? Yes, we want a full report. With photos!

Ah, life in Smallville. Superman seemed to like it. And I love the roof on the building and those lovely angles. If not a shop, I bet it would make a super house!
Mme: It would sure make for an interesting little house. It's tucked in behind a bookshop so it would be dangerous for me to live there. I spend way too much money on books as it is.

Ah--had to read through to the last comment to find out where you'd get your fix. I'm afraid a trip to the Wizzard bar, charming as it may be, wouldn't hold a candle to a visit to the Genius bar.
