WTF Easter Monday

Yay, Katie, for finding this cute little fella in the Dollar Store.

I wonder what "Hollow Milk" tastes like.

Happy Easter Monday, Dive.
Maybe this can be Quax a l'Orange!

Happy Easter, Deb!
I rather think I shall be avoiding "hollow milk a l'orange" as a flavour. Ick!

It's amazing the crap they sell at the Dollar Store. At least it makes for fun photo hunting. I hadn't even notice that this yummy ducky is made of "Hollow Milk" - what a scream! (Actually make that a lame quack.)

Katie: Your local Dollar Store is an absolute goldmine of WTF insanity. That said, I must confess I find this little guy irresistibly cute.

Does anyone else besides me think their secretly peddling Duck Wax to minors?

"Get your Quax today!"
"I used Quax and now my skin looks smooth!"
"I lost 45 lbs in 10 days using Quax!"

"Order now and we'll throw a complete second set of Quax for absolutely free. Callers within the next 20 minutes also get this set of stainless steel steak knives, yours free for trying Quax!"

I--whut?

It makes me wonder if something was lost in translation, but I can't imagine what it could be and I'm not sure I want to know.

I wonder if hollow milk comes from hollow cows??

Katherine said...

Hollow milk comes from emaciated cows.

Todd: Quax does indeed sound scarily like a drug. Icky.

Petrea: Me neither. Brr …

Ms.M and Katherine: Hee hee! Wherever it comes from I'm sure I don't want to taste it.

Hollow milk = partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, high fructose corn syrup, bioflavenoids, methane, carbon monoxide, eye of newt, heart of toad, calcium carbonate and the entire periodic table. Bon appetite!

I think dive needs to try this product like he did the twinkies awhile back. Of course we may want to have someone standby at the emergency room.

It was the "Hollow Milk Flavored" thing that threw me for a loop as well.

Morning .. no blog what have you been doing? anyway you will be pleased to know I have actually remembered how to do a link on mine.

Do you fancy a bit of jazz guitar? with the Sole Bay Guys?

Neetzy: Hahahahahaha! That one made me laugh out loud. And it also made me strangely hungry. I'll have to try your hollow milk recipe.

Todd: Bring me a Yummy Ducky and I'll eat it for the entertainment of Blogville!

Pilgrim: Me too. Bleah!

Mum: No blog as I've been too busy. Yay you for remembering how to link!

I don't see what the big deal is. I eat these suckers daily while playing with all of my dollar store chotchkies. Now, if you'll excuse me I'm off for my cancer tx..... ;D

Hope you had a mighty fine Easter Dive!

dive said...

Hee hee, Shan!

Good luck with the cancer thing. And yes, I had a mighty fine Easter indeed, thank you. I hope you had the same.

Dive - look up "pickle in a pouch" or Van Holtens Pickles for a truly WTF experience.

Oh, my giddy aunt!
Shazza, that is too funny (and hugely gross).
Hee hee hee, thank you.
