Worth Every … er … Penny

I am tempted to bring back the 500 Words short story writing club, if only we could come up with titles as good as these.

The Golden Stiletto sounds like a lost Sherlock Holmes tale, sugar! Or a Charlie Chan movie! *snickering* xoxoxox

The Saucy Arethusa and Large Plate? This must go along with the infamous Taco Hat of Friday.
Maybe it's all part of Sailor Jack's Mysterious Mission....

Hee hee, Savannah. I think that's one I'd go see.

Ms.M I believe we should be told.

Hahahahahaha. My monitor screen thanks you, Petrea; it enjoyed being sprayed with refreshing coffee. I really must learn not to take a sip while reading these comments.

"The Gold Stiletto" is the one that caught my eye. A possible episode from Sex and the City in which a pair of much lusted after Jimmy Choo pumps is to be the prize. I do lust after a pair of those shoes but, not only are they instruments of torture, but Jimmy Choo lost himself a willing masochist by taking his product out of my size and price range! Damn.

P.S. Only "the Saucy Arethusa" with her handsful of $20's could afford the shoes for her act. A deductable business expense, of course.

Ah, the good Mister Choo - such ludicrous prices that only the Saucy Arethusa could afford them

Of course the original story would have involved a blade rather than footwear but the footwear would be funnier.
