A merry season to you, too, Old Dive. And may you receive at least one gift that isn't quite as disappointing...

Merry Christmas to you and N, Ms.M.

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the disappointment.

… is nowhere near as much fun as the Oblonskys, the Karenins and the Vronskys.

Exactly.

If that baby were born today, it's get it's own reality TV show, ala "Honey Booboo." But there was a show called "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant," 'tho Mary defintitely knew ... Hmm, how about one of Maury Povich's "Who's the Daddy?" segments?

Speedway, you've been watching WAY too much TV.

No, Dive, I've never seen any of those programs all the way through. You'd be surprised what's on the TV in the waiting rooms of doctors, lobbies of hospitals, in bars (usually always sports w/thick-necked talking heads) and some restaurants. BUT, an episode of Maury, when the results of The Baby's DNA test is returned would be very interesting .. Oops, wait a minute! God is not the Father and His Presence does the not-the-daddy dance. Then we learn it wasn't even Joseph, who Mary had to convince of the Immaculate-ness of the conception in the first place. It's Latinus the Roman, a soldier from the inn! Uh-oh. Man, some major league stories are going to need a re-write.

Oh-oh-oh... One of the morning radio comics just suggested a title in a parody routine ... "Here Comes Jesus Boo Boo."

Christmas is, without a doubt, my least favourite thing about eternity. ... Best - Lucio :-)
