LOL It never ceases to amaze me how people feel the need to take a picture of the Mona Lisa, instead of JUST LOOKING AT THE DAMN PORTRAIT! That's the memory! Besides, you can buy a very lovely poster in the gift shop! *snickering* xoxoxox
I have a little fridge magnet that my sister in law got me when she went there, and as I will never get to see her, nice to have a little picture…but could not bear those crowds!
Petrea, that's just like the picture EVERYONE has to take. Except me … I didn't go in there. How refreshing that the hordes left you and Leonardo alone.
Me neither, Mum. Always go to places like that when they're empty. Kinda tricky with the Mona Lisa, but like Savannah says: you can see so much more from a good reproduction.

Mona just gets no relief from the common paparazzi, does she? Someone should write her a blues song....
This is just like the picture I took.
Across from the entrance to this room is a Da Vinci that no one noticed while we were there. We had plenty of "alone time" with it.
