Hee hee, Neetzy! Yes, it's a perfect word to share with schoolboys of any age (including my own).
Ms.M: Your typing skills are a whole lot better than mine. And yes, "I gotta take a waz" is a common phrase in pubs here. I'm not sure that it actually means anything in German.

I love it! I heard wiz but not waz! I'm so excited to have something new to share with my high school boys!
You mean as in "I gotta take waz"? Seems to be an appropriate name for some newspapers I can think of...
Oops--that should be "I gotta take a waz". My typing skills are just waz today...
Trust Phil to find that one...

Mum, yup.
A waz, a wiz, a whiz. Isn't it funny that "onomatopoeia" doesn't sound like anything?
Hee hee, Petrea, that's always puzzled me.
"Pee pee" as in il faut que je faire un pee pee.
Whizz is the male equivalent in the antipodes :)
Hee hee, Mme!
We used to have a kids' comic called "Whizzer" back in the 60s.
