I love your sunset pictures, Dive, and knowing you work in a place with actual windows. I prefer the other end of the day. Sunset is a signal that the goblins crew will be out, telling me to go inside. Getting to see another sunrise means I get another chance to find out whether I'll ever be good at, well, anything. I get to work at something I enjoy; this morning I went out and found beautiful sunlit dew on the leaves, so took a few pictures.
Savannah, I automatically associated "orifice" with the side bar quote.
I'm a sunrise person, too, Speedway, but I get to enjoy those before I start work.
Ah, the Sidebar Quote Quiz. This one should be fairly easy; one of my favourite modern US authors and also a great film (black and white with Cybil Shepherd which will kinda give it away).

I should play your quizzes more often. I always forget to look and see what you've got. I've read one of McMurtry's sagas, which I liked. Lonesome Dove. It was a miniseries starring Robert Duvall.
Hi Dive! Just catching up and seeing what's going on. You guys were looking good at the Goodwood as usual. I do hope you are staying busy with work but also managing some fun sprinkled in. I can't keep up and feel more ADD than ever but I do think about and check on my blog friends still and send mental well wishes all around. No doubt there will be more sunsets to come as the clocks have gone back and we get treated to regular doses of the sky showing off.

I love Lonesome Dove, Petrea. I've not seen the TV show but the book and its sequels are wonderful.
I retired last month. For the first time, I'm watching the trees change colors in my back yard. Incredible.
