Yum

Yummy meal at the weekend for Mum's birthday. Phil treated us to a blow out at the Fox and Goose at Fressingfield.
Top food, top service, middling prices, beautiful building: Boffo!

Petrea, when you come over I'll take you and John there as you'd love the building (c.1503) as much as the food.

The restaurant is in this building? They can serve me hamburgers, I'll love it anyway.

Alifan, I love your new photo. You look quite spiffy.

The whole place is a restaurant, Petrea. Lots of original rooms forming individual dining spaces. Saggy beams aplenty.

Thanks Petrea David took it on Sunday…

Happy birthday, Alifan! The restaurant looks like a fascinating place. Sounds like the food was good, too. :-)

What a great birthday celebration for everyone! I can almost imagine the rooms and "saggy beams." It must have made the food and wine seem even more special.

Speedway, I lived in a place like this for several years. Believe me: saggy beams make for a lot of forehead scarring and waking up on the floor going "OW!"
The food was indeed special, though.
