Teeny tiny little lemon curd tartlets made by the girl behind the counter at Jarrold's bookstore coffee shop. Intensely lemony. Washed down with a couple of ristrettos from my favourite of their roasts: fresh Honduras beans, short roasted to leave a glorious fruit tang and a complex aftertaste to the coffee; perfect with the tarts.
Little things that make life worth living.
How was your morning?

Love those tarts pity they did not have them yesterday when I was there with you.
Way to go, OpenID ce8d632a-647c-11e3-94d3-000bcdcb2996, that was so interesting and relevant.
My morning was fine, thank you, but perhaps not as fancy as yours.
Well, it makes a change from fake Chinese viagra ads. Not sure that meditating on Sri Krishna disguised as a female doctor would do much for the balance of my soul, but I might give it a whirl.
Mum, she makes all manner of little goodies, but you have to be there early to get 'em.
Petrea, all of your mornings are way more fancy than mine; you get to spend them in Pasadena!
On the mornings I commute to work, I often stop in to a coffee shop between buses for a chai tes latte and a cookie. It makes for a few minutes of quiet before I have to put up with the day's of chatter of hundreds of folks. Please, give me quiet!
Speedway, first of all, I'm glad your eyes are better.
Your morning commute sounds arduous. I'm glad you get a break from it. Yet again, it must be a long one if you need a break between buses.
Quiet is what I crave. This may be about age. When I was younger I liked parties and noise. No more.
I'd like us all to sit in Dive's cafe and savor breakfast one of these days.
The garnish looks like reindeer antlers.
It'd be such an experience for us all to meet at Dive's coffee shop!
A tartlet -- good word for a tiny tart.
