Smear That Shit

Honey and walnut sourdough from my new favourite bakery.
Smear that shit with bitter orange marmalade.
Brew up a good coffee.
Breakfast of champions.

The bread looks great, but orange marmalade? Yuch. My granma used to get the stuff sent to her by relatives in England. Hated it then because of the peel bits. Still do. But would love the coffee.

Non-patriot that I am, Speedway, I use a French marmalade; the English stuff is too sickly-sweet and this bread needs the real nasty bitter stuff. Tres yum.

Looks like fantastic bread! I'd try the bitter marmalade, but wonder what it would be like dipped in good olive oil? Or smeared with cream cheese?

Your title makes this sound most unappetizing.

Their baguettes go superbly with good olive oil, Ms.M (I've been guzzling my friend Ali's dad's olive oil from his estate in Sicily just lately; it's shipped to me in old Remy Martin bottles which can be confusing if I fancy a cognac).
I tend to steer clear of cream cheese as it seems just a squishy way to add fat directly to my body.

Petrea, I'm just trying to up the pervert count on my Stat Counter.

YAY! A food blog by Dive! It's been such a long time! And everything is better with marmalade.

That bread is getting stale now, hope you enjoyed it.

Gimme! YUM!

What about cherry preserves? Speaking of smearing the bread with cream cheese, I'm considering smearing my PC monitor with typo-fluid to erase the sight of the now stale bread.

Ok I am rather fed up with looking at this sour dough ha ha, how about some of Phil and Dawns photos from Yorkshire?

You know, I bet if you took that image and portioned it into a few pixels, you could pass it on to friends who could clone their very own virtual images of the sour dough bread. No one would ever have to do without.

it keeps making me feel hungry!
