Some of you may have noticed (thank you, Ms.M) that I am going through one of those periodic spells of blog-dried frustration where as soon as I sit down to write a post all creative thought is sucked from my mind. What happens to it then is beyond me. It probably gets deposited in a messy heap somewhere in the arse end of Mongolia; it's certainly nowhere around here. I've looked.
Anyhoo … until someone finds it and sends it back to me I shall resort to posting photos taken around and about my part of the world.
Maybe daily; maybe a few each week.
Who knows?
I certainly don't.

In the meantime I'll just giggle about your weird dream. Coming as it did in the midst of such a serious and thoughtful post it simply cracked me up.
At least you got off your arse long enough to take a new photo! I don't tire of your Norwich Cathedral. I love the blue shadows. I don't even want to get off my chair. It is too cold outside.
Very understandable. I get creative-suck-out syndrome, too, especially after a grueling work day. Your photo is lovely, very pastoral. By all means, post more photos of your part of the world; we'd enjoy seeing them :)

I'm glad you like the cathedral as there'll probably be more of the same to come (I took mum and an aunt there last week).
Ms.M: I love the phrase "creative suck-out syndrome."
I had never thought of this view as pastoral but you are right. It's a view I see an awful lot, as it is taken from the riverside walk (I'm standing on a little levée with the river behind me), though pastoral is hardly the word that would normally spring to mind as the roar of traffic from the road across the river reminds me that this is right in the very heart of the city.
Mum: I do enjoy being a guide around the city. It was a fun day with you an Phyllis, even if we did walk her legs off.
My creativity has dried up too; partly because I no longer have a blog and also because my new camera isn't a patch on the old one. I look at some of my old photos and they are fantastic.
I've been so busy working on the property over summer that I've hardly had time to stop and appreciate other beautiful things, like Norwich Cathedral in the snow. So thank you dear friend, for posting photos occasionally. I love them.
Mme, I do so miss your blog. I hate Facebook so I rarely comment, but I must wish you a belated Happy Australia Day, though of course it's been far from happy for a lot of folk down there this year.
What a bummer about your new camera. Perhaps you should trade it for your old one.
