At Bloody Last …

Finally …

After weeks of faff and blather and daily commuting to bloody Cambridge, we've moved into our temporary orifice while the builders bugger up our old building.

I still have no interweb at home but at least I can post from the orifice now.

This is our little side office off the main room. That's Simon on the left, looking uncharacteristically stern, then Dan the mad Viking with his man-bun and David D with a head even shinier than mine. Emily and Erin couldn't be arsed to turn up and unpack their boxes.

I've got my mug of coffee and my little wooden cathedral so I'm settling in nicely. It's only a three minute walk to the castle from here so expect an update soon.

It's good to see you're back on-line! At least you don't have to commute to Cambridge to have access to your on-line work.

How exciting! More posts from the castle, I mean, YOU! xoxox

Yay -- a new post! Good to hear that you're now set up in the temporary office. Quite a computer setup you have there. 3 screens! That wooden cathedral is delightful, but I'm more interested to know what the plastic-wrapped treat is under the left-hand monitor. Christmas fruitcake? And is that a Pantone mug? Looking forward to more castle posts!

I'm sorry you have such a crappy job and you have to work in an ancient, historic castle and you have to drive from one gorgeous city to another. It's just terrible.

It's good to be back, Speedway, even if it's only bits and bots during the week when I can avoid being overlooked.

Definitely more to come, Savannah xoxo

Yay indeed, Katie! The box of treats is baby tomatoes on the vine (my default snackeroo) and the mug is the Penguin Books "Pride and Prejudice" cover.

Ah, Petrea … it's tragic the suffering I have to undergo to put food on the table. Hee hee.
