A Cure For Autumn

I make no excuses for playing this again (and again). It's a cold, dull, miserable Sunday morning here and there's only one antidote:

I suppose when people in evening dress are pitching stuff into trash cans, popping bubble wrap, and splashing water on cue, it means that humor is a deadly serious undertaking.

They look like they're having fun and working hard! I love the foley guys.

It really makes me think about what went into those cartoons: besides drawing and coloring each and every cel, there's the scoring, rehearsing, conducting, etc. Wow.

People in evening dress have always behaved that way, Speedway.

I've always loved the Fred Quimby / Scott Bradley era Tom and Jerrys, Petrea, but this clip makes me appreciated the sheer craft and beauty of the whole enterprise. Alas for modern times.
