Saturday Statuary - Snowballs

Meanwhile … back at the Cambridge Genome Research Facility, aliens have landed …

… and are very surprised by the cold snow against their bottoms.

It seems to be mooning you, Dive. Giving you the ol' cold eye, as it were, ummm?

Oh I like those, would like one in my garden!

I rather thought it was going "Oooh!" at the cold on its bottom.

Mum, next time I'm there I'll try to fit one into my car.

The first photo has a dark curve in it that reminds me of a large wave curling off the ocean which became frozen mid-wave.

The second globe does look as if it's shouting a prolonged "Ohhhhhhhh!!!" (And not Ommmmmmm)

Me too, Ms.M. Either a Hokusai wave or maybe a leaping whale. Actually, it's the porch roof from the refectory building.
I think if I were sat bare-assed in the snow like the second globe, I'd make the same expression.
