Frabjous Friday

Well, the snow's gone … Now we're just left with floods, biting cold and gale force winds.
Until this evening, when Norfolk's due to get another load of snow dumped on us.
O frabjous day, etc.

Ah! But what a wonderful place to live!

I feel for ya, Dive. Here, it's biting cold after snow squalls causing a white out for people driving on black ice. We had a chain reaction accident just west of here that killed one man, injured another 12 or so - and we count ourselves lucky it wasn't worse because so many trucks and cars were involved.

But tomorrow I'm going to get up early and meet some folks at the zoo to draw and take pictures. Whoopie.

Lovely ocean scene!
But the weather sounds nasty. Maybe someone should perform a sacrifice to appease the weather gods.

I wouldn't like it at all.

But, as we say in California: Dude. That photo is fab.

Yup, it certainly is … in spring and autumn.

Oooh, oooh, the zoo, the ZOO! I'm so jealous, Speedway. I love days out at the zoo. Say hi from me to the weirder and more unloved and icky of the inhabitants.

Ms.M. that's a splendid idea. I can think of several hundred members of the government and financial institutions who would make ideal sacrificial victims, with the bonus that their gruesome and hilariously messy and painful deaths would leave the world a much better place.

Thank you, Petrea. As we say around here: surf's … er … down.
