It happens from time to time: my old brain just gives up and goes off for a lie down. I could sit and stare at this screen until my eyes fell out and still not think of anything to write about (at least nothing worth reading), so I'm going to switch the pooter off and join the Occupy movement for a bit, occupying my sofa with a stack of books while I try to recharge my blog mojo.
Later, peeps …

Must admit, I seem to only put the jazz on my blog nowadays...
But have got some housework done, and washing blowing on the line so after lunch I may take to the sofa as well and knit....
Hello, Dive! It's been less than a year for me, yet there are some days ...
I just dig into my little stash of photos and blither a sentence or two. This experience has made me expand myself a bit, talking to people when I'd otherwise remain mute, going places I might not go, reading about stuff I don't particularly find interesting on it's own (but someone else might! It's just me). I'm even starting to walk into neighborhoods I might not visit - not on my path.
And I get to chat with you and a bunch of other people I'd never have met. Cool! My blog-mind may dry, but my blithering in comments doesn't!
Me too, Speedway.
But Speedway and I have declared ourselves Daily bloggers, it says so in the title. You don't have to do it every day. Give yourself a break.
Dive,
I admire you for keeping at it this long without brain freeze. I post once every two weeks lately...
We've outlasted a good many blogger, Dive, so you deserve a break. There was a time when I felt like I was missing an arm if I didn't post every day, or at least every week day. But now I'm down to just two or three days a week.
You, on the other hand, have been a blog work horse.
I echo the other -- we all need a break from time to time. Enjoy your books, my friend :-)
My blog has turned into a tumbleweed and rolled off. We like the comfort of checking in and making sure things are still moving along in your life- even if it's just the small breeze of a page flapping on your couch. Rest now and read. Since you've proclaimed being dry, you'll no doubt be recharged. Isn't that how it works? xo
