Er, Dive, you think maybe people such as you and I might take over administration of the finances and repairs? After all, we'd have no vested interest in the place, other than to see historical/arceological interests had been well-served. In the end, that would serve the preservation of the spiritual aspects as well. Ummm?
You're right, Speedway; it would be better off in the hands of Atheists. You'd think we'd have learned after a couple of thousand years that if you put two Christians in a room together they'll immediately split into two opposing sects and beat the crap out of one another, so a whole room full of them armed with brooms was only going to end in slapstick.
Ms.M. the Pythons would be proud to have come up with something so tragically funny as this. Bitching and kvetching seem to be essential to the inner workings of religious minds so it's a good WV word.
